It is the first of the PMC range to feature the radically engineered Radial™ bass unit. Its colossal exo-skeleton provides exceptional physical and thermal stability by ensuring the cone has a perfect rigid structure to produce enormous excursions and the coil is kept cool by heat sinking properties created by the exposed fins. The beautifully veneered and acoustically tuned cabinet of the MB is constructed from precision cut panels that increase to a thickness of over 35mm. The internal faces and further damped and braced by the labyrinth that creates the much extended ATL™, this forms ideal conditions for pure untainted audio to be formed.
Flawlessly combining the silky smooth 
series tweeter, PMC 75 Soft dome mid and the 12” Radial™ bass unit is the imposing, hand built 24 dB per octave precision crossover network that features individually matched and recorded components that allow for substantial power handling, an unrestricted dynamic range and wonderfully tantalizing subtlety.
As with all PMC designs there are matching horizontal centre speakers (MB2-C) and subs (XB2) to create unparalleled surround sound combinations. Bespoke pre tuned ‘designer’ stands are also a feature of the all the large stand mounted models in the i series range and simply add to both the elegance and performance of the design.
