The e²LightSpeaker® , which comes complete with a dimmable LED bulb and full-range speaker, fits 5” and 6” recessed light fixtures with a standard Edison socket. Unable to use pot light fixtures? Add the e²LightSpeaker® to any table or floor lamp with our LampKit. Now you have distributed audio throughout your home or sapce in minutes not weeks. If you need full range sound, adding our wireless SubWoofer will add boom to any room and unlike your home stereo reciever you can add additional SubWoofer's any where you need them.
The speaker uses a 20 watt high-performance, low-distortion digital amplifier to deliver energy efficient sound. Furthermore, the e²LightSpeaker® ’s 80mm wide dispersion driver uses digital signal processing to optimize high- and low-frequency output for a full spectrum of sound.
In order to deliver sound wirelessly, the e²LightSpeaker® relies on a standalone transmitter. Connect a source, such as a laptop, iPod, home stereo receiver or cable box to the transmitter and wirelessly send sound to the e²LightSpeaker® up to 100’ in any direction. You can connect one or two sources to the transmitter, as well as establish two separate listening zones into different rooms or areas such as inside or out. The transmitter’s 2.4GHz wireless technology allows you to add up to 16 additional e²LightSpeaker products (AudioRock's and SubWoofer's too) for multiple room sound. The transmitter or remote will control the zones, lighting levels and volume.
The LED bulb is fully dimmable and is rated for 40,000 hours of use and can last up to 15 years. It also reduces daily lighting expenses by 80 percent, using only 10 watts to produce light that’s bright enough to replace up to a 65 watt bulb. Unlike incandescent bulbs, the e²LightSpeaker® LED bulb contains no mercury or halogen gases and produces almost no heat.
